Bronwyn

I love this headband! I love its celtic knotwork and yummy buttery color. Would you like to make it, too? Well, just because I love you, here you go:

Bronwyn
I used worsted weight yarn and size 10 needles. Gauge is not that important as you will adjust the size using stockingette stitches.

Cast on 6
1-8. work in stockingette, starting with a knit row.
9. (yo, k1) 6 times (12 stitches)
10. Purl
11. (Slip 2 stitches on cable needle at back of work, k2, k2 off of cable needle) 3 times
12. purl
13. knit
14. purl
15. k2, (slip 2 stitches on cable needle in front of work, k2, k2 off of cable needle) 2 times, k2
16. purl

17. (k1, yo, k1) 6 times (18 stitches)
18.Purl
19. (Slip 3 stitches on cable needle at back of work, k3, k3 off of cable needle) 3 times
20. purl
21. knit
22. purl
23. k3, (slip 3 stitches on cable needle in front of work, k3, k3 off of cable needle) 2 times, k3
24. purl

Repeat rows 17-24 10 times, replacing row 17 with a regular knit row (no more increases).

25. (k1, k2tog) 6 times (12 stitches)

Repeat rows 10-16

26. k2tog 6 times (6 stitches)

knit in stockingette until headband fits SNUGLY. Remember that the headband will stretch quite a bit.

bind off. Sew to first row. Weave in ends. Yummy.

I am taking a semester off from pottery due to our Adoption Classes. I miss, miss, miss the studio, and will be back next term. More pottery photos then.
